Wow, mother nature is really showing her beautiful colors. Caitlin and I had a beautiful morning to create some gorgeous one-of-a-kind portraits in the studio and outdoors. Her images are phenomenal and she did a great job preparing for her session. This is just a small sampling of how we did.

It is hard to believe that summer has left us and fall is scurrying by. What some beautifully mild weather we have had. The trees are beginning to display their gorgeous colors and in a few short weeks it will all be over. So, we are putting out our last call for gorgeous outdoor senior pictures. We still have some good times left but the beautiful fall color won’t be around much longer. We have extended our 50% discount on senior portrait sessions through the end of October. Benet Academy Senior Pictures

So far this year Photography by Michael has done senior pictures for students from over 20 schools and 3 states. We’ve had some gorgeous ladies this year and Lauren from Benet Academy was no exception. We had a beautiful summer morning with phenomenal lighting waiting for us to find it. As usual, the Naperville Riverwalk did not disappoint with its beautiful selection of backgrounds and amenities. Our outdoor walking tour usually takes 75 to 90 minutes but the time goes very quickly. Lauren also opted to do some outfits in our north Naperville studio which turned out equally well.

Don’t worry, most students won’t be doing their class of 2013 senior sessions until next summer but it’s never too early to begin the marketing process because our studio has a wonderful opportunity for those students looking to make senior year special. We are again looking for outgoing ladies with leadership qualities who love to be in photographs and talk with their friends for our Class of 2013 Senior Model program. Everyone who has been involved over the last 20 years has had tons of fun and was given the opportunity to earn money toward their senior portraits. Class of 2013 Model Program

Naperville North-Waubonsie HS Action Soccer photography

What a soccer game we had the chance to photograph this past Saturday. Naperville North and Waubonsie Valley High Schools are both state ranked teams and did not disappoint. The action was fast and furious and although North came out on top the game was close and both teams should be proud of the effort they put forth. I was thoroughly entertained on what turned out to be a gorgeous afternoon.

Naperville Senior Pictures outdoor photography season is running out of time!

Low and behold, after Labor Day we see the end of the outdoor photography season coming down the road. Officially, Halloween is the end of the outdoor photography season, give or take some mild days in early November. However, you really can’t rely on those. Until then, we still have some gorgeous weather ahead of us. Our Urban Extreme Session has become very popular and includes indoor studio, Naperville Riverwalk and the downtown Naperville streets for a more urban look.

This is Katie who thoroughly enjoyed her Urban Extreme Session. We had tons of fun and created some incredible images. There were so many to choose from the narrowing down process was also VERY fun! Let us know what you think.

Naperville Senior Pictures at Waubonsie Valley High School

Wow, taking a breath to post a few pictures of my friend Abby from Waubonsie Valley High School. Our most popular indoor/outdoor session called the Ultimate allows for 5 outfits. Typically, we photograph 3 outfits in the studio and 2 outside at the Naperville Riverwalk, but occasionally the seniors prefer to do more out which is totally cool. The sessions are a total blast and we try to capture images of the many sides of each senior’s personality as well as a wide variety of images, from fun to fashion to formal to funky. I think Abby did a phenomenal job on her session and her clothes and her hair was gorgeous, don’t you think?
